Costa Rica has been known for its natural environment and the diversity of the bio-life there. However, like most other country there have been a lot of deforestation and loss of these precious things. Out of the 186 protected regions you are likely to find about 30 national parks. The others are forest reserves, wildlife conservation areas and biological reserves.
